PRE-LISTING INSPECTIONS
You invest a great deal of time, money, and energy to market your listings, and you need to get a good return on that investment. Don’t be blindsided by problems that could seriously undermine your dedicated efforts to sell a home, or that could keep a property from selling at its highest potential price.
A pre-listing inspection can uncover previously unknown problems – major and minor – allowing sellers the opportunity to make repairs, updates, or replacements as needed or as they wish. By addressing these issues before the home goes on the market, you can list a home with greater knowledge of its condition which will result in cleaner offers and a smoother transaction for both parties.
RADON TESTING
A major environmental concern that homeowners face is the presence of radon onsite. Having the property checked for radon is instrumental to ensuring the health and safety of you and your family. Our experienced and professional inspectors can detect the presence of radon using trusted and effective techniques. If the level is too high, a radon reduction system will need to be installed.
WATER TESTING
One of the main environmental concerns you may have as a homeowner or business owner is the quality of your water. The water quality can be tested to uncover the water pH levels, the hardness of the water, as well as checking for the presence of minerals, manganese, sodium, iron, and bacteria such as E-coli. TERMITE INSPECTIONS
A simple termite inspection from the professionals at MKI Inspection Services will help protect your property and home. Our termite inspectors will arrive at your home and begin searching for any evidence of termites. Signs include damp wood, termite tunnels, or damage in your home.
OPEN CAP SEPTIC INSPECTIONS
Eventually, all septic tanks fill with solids and require regular pumping out to stay in good working order. Having your septic system inspected will ensure the condition of the tank and that the liquids in the tank are at correct operating levels. Proper functionality of all baffles, distribution boxes and leach fields will be determined.
LEAD BASE PAINT TESTING
Warning! This house could be hazardous to your health! Lead based paint was primarily used in older homes prior to 1978 and an experienced inspector can quickly detect the presence of lead. Finding lead in your home can be distressing but once you are equipped with this critical information, you can take the necessary steps to make your home safe again.
